No one wants to be stranded on the trail with a cut sidewall, a flat from a nail, or a valve stem torn off by a rock. GlueTread started with sidewall repair, but today our kits cover all three of the ways a tire quits on the trail: sidewall damage, tread punctures and valve stem failures.

If you're on the trail every weekend, run multi-day overland trips, or travel anywhere a second tire failure would leave you stuck, the Expedition Kit is the one to carry. It fixes sidewall damage, punctures and valve stem failures, and it carries enough to handle more than one problem on the same trip.

Prepared for Anything: The Complete Tire Repair Kit

The Complete Tire Repair Kit covers the same three repairs as the Expedition Kit in a lighter package. It's a great fit for day trips and weekend rides.

What's inside: six external patches in three sizes (including two 4" x 4.5" and two 3" x 1.5"), three tubes of adhesive with six applicator tips, a plug kit with a T-handle insertion tool, one GlueTread Colby valve and 20 pieces of sandpaper.

Complete or Expedition? The Expedition Kit adds a second Colby valve, more patches and plugs, spare valve cores and caps, a 4-way tool and the Cordura bag. If a second failure on the same trip would strand you, go with the Expedition.

Our Best-Selling Sidewall Kit: The Full-Size Sidewall Kit

If you already carry a plug kit and just need the repair a plug can't make, the Full-Size Sidewall Kit is our most popular choice. It's built for full-size trucks and 4x4s, and it works on other off-road vehicles too. It has enough patches and adhesive for five to seven sidewall repairs.

Most side-by-sides don't have room for a spare. The SxS Pro Tire Repair Kit is built to replace it. It fixes sidewalls, punctures and valve stems, and it includes CO2 so you can reinflate without an air compressor.

The ATV Pro Tire Repair Kit was originally designed for the US Border Patrol. It handles sidewall damage and valve stems and includes CO2 for reinflation, all in a compact bag sized for an ATV.

The Tractor Kit

A sidewall cut on a tractor tire usually means an expensive replacement and a lost workday. The Tractor Kit repairs sidewall damage, slices and punctures from the outside, without dismounting the tire. It works on everything from lawn mowers to large tractors.

What's inside: two 4" x 4.5" patches, two 3" x 1.5" patches, three tubes of adhesive, six applicator tips and 10 pieces of sandpaper.

Snowmobile Paddle Repair Kits

Torn or delaminating paddles don't have to mean a new track. The Snowmobile Paddle Repair Kit repairs damaged track paddles in the garage using external rubber patches and adhesive. It works best on tears up to about 3.5 inches and on paddles that are still mostly attached. It won't rebuild a paddle that has been torn off.

What's inside: one 4" x 4.5" patch, four 3" x 1.5" patches, three tubes of adhesive, six applicator tips, 10 pieces of sandpaper, a sanding flap disc, a rubber glove and an instruction manual.

For more paddles or more than one sled, the Snowmobile Pro Paddle Repair Kit carries ten patches and six tubes of adhesive.

Small Kits for a Glovebox or a Single Repair

• External Patch Kit: two 3" x 1.5" patches, two 1.5" x 1.5" patches, one tube of adhesive, two applicator tips and four pieces of sandpaper. It fits in a glovebox or tool bag.
• Sidewall Seal Kit: a single-repair kit for larger sidewall damage, built around one thick 4" x 4.5" patch.
• Sidewall Seal Mini: a single-repair kit for small slices and punctures, with one 1.5" x 1.5" patch and one tube of adhesive.
• Sidewall Seal Bike Kit: a single-repair kit for the sidewall of a tubeless bicycle tire.

Add-Ons

• Power Plug Kit: two T-handles (probe and needle), two plug packs, pliers and a razor blade. It's the one GlueTread kit that is on-road approved.
• Emergency Valve Stem Repair: a single GlueTread Colby valve that replaces a damaged valve stem from outside the wheel, with no tools.
• Inflation Kit: two CO2 canisters, a Schrader chuck and an insulation sleeve. That's typically enough to inflate one standard rear ATV tire.
• Tire Prep Kit: a sanding flap wheel (drill required, not for impact drivers), a tire prep marker and a razor knife for faster, cleaner surface prep.

A Few Things Every Kit Has in Common

• No tire removal. Every repair is made from the outside of the tire, without taking it off the rim or the vehicle.
• About 10 minutes to cure. GlueTread adhesive cures in about 10 minutes, and no accelerator is needed.
• Damage up to about 3.5 to 4 inches. Use a patch that covers the damage with at least 1/2" to spare on every side. Larger patches can be cut down for smaller damage.
• A temporary repair. GlueTread is built to get you off the trail and back to safety. Sidewall and valve repairs are for off-road use only, so have the tire properly serviced once you're back on pavement.
• Made in the USA. Our patches come from Ohio, our T-handles are CNC-machined in Montana, our plugs are made in Texas, and our Colby valves are machined in Missouri and assembled in Arkansas.
