At GlueTread, we want to make sure you’re always prepared for whatever the great outdoors throws your way. That’s why we’re reminding our customers to take a moment to check their adhesive bottles before heading out—because the last thing you want is dried-out adhesive when you need it most.

How to Check Your Adhesive

Checking your adhesive is quick and easy. Simply invert the bottle and watch for a small air bubble rising to the surface. If you see it, you’re all set! If not, your adhesive may have dried out—but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Our company policy is simple—if your adhesive has dried out, we’ll replace it. No questions asked.

Remind Me Again, What’s the Expected Shelf-Life of the Adhesive?

The shelf-life of GlueTread adhesive can vary depending on the humidity and exposure to ultraviolet light in the storage space. Under reasonable conditions, GlueTread adhesive should last the customer between one and three years. To maximize its shelf-life, we recommend storing our product in a cool, dark environment. Additionally, it’s best to keep your GlueTread accelerator stored separately from the adhesive to prevent premature drying.
